Nate Letton '15

Nate Letton joined the Centre staff in the summer of 2015 as the wide receivers coach after a very successful playing career with the Colonels. In 2017, Letton took over as the Colonels' offensive line coach.

In 2018, he helped Centre go 10-2 overall while claiming a share of the SAA Championship and reaching the NCAA Division III Playoffs. He saw four of his lineman garner All-SAA honors during the year, including All-American Drew Yeager. They were integral in helping Centre lead the SAA in total offense (471.4 ypg), scoring (41.9 ppg) and first downs (271).

The year prior, he guided an O-line that helped Centre finish second in the SAA in rushing offense and sacks allowed, ranking 28th in Division III in the latter. Four of Centre's five starting offense linemen garnered All-SAA honors in 2017, including First Team selection Tim Grabenstein.

While mentoring tight ends in 2016, Letton helped Austin Hayes earn an All-SAA Second Team nod.

The Lexington, Ky. native graduated from Centre in 2015 with a degree in biology and a minor in education.

Letton was an SAA Honorable Mention selection as a senior in 2014, helping the Colonels to an undefeated regular season and a conference title. The linebacker ranked second on the team and 10th in the conference with 67 total tackles. Letton also tallied five tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and an interception during his senior campaign. He added 10 tackles as a junior in 2013. In addition, he served as the starting long snapper for three seasons for the Colonels.
Letton is a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School, where he played for his father Bill Letton, a former standout tight end at Centre.
