Centre College Athletics

Nate Simmons joined the Centre football coaching staff in 2021. He has served as defensive backs coach his entire tenure and has also served as recruiting coordinator since 2022.

A 2018 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, Simmons got his coaching start as defensive backs coach and director of football operations at Nations Christian Academy in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Nate and his wife Shelby have been married since 2019 and have one son, Tatum.
