Centre College Athletics

At University School: Swam (captain, state qualifier in 500, 200, 100 free and 100 back), ran track and cross country (captain and 4^th in state meet) and played lacrosse. He worked for the Special Olympics at Vanderbilt University in the summers between his freshman-sophomore and sophomore- junior years of high school. 

First applied to the Officer Candidate program for the United States Marine Corps. Was accepted to attend the first six-week period of instruction at the Marine Corps base quarters in VA in April 2013. He is also on the varsity swim team at Centre as well, making it to the finals last year in conference in the 200 back and 500 and scoring in the 200 freestyle.

His mother went to Stanford for undergraduate and attended Vanderbilt Medical School and works as a clinical pathologist and a professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University. His father went to Harvard and Vanderbilt Medical School and works as a orthopedic hand surgeon. He has three brothers and one sister.
