Biography

At Massapequa: Played 2 years of JV lacrosse, 2 times Tristate Champions, and 3 years at Bluechip 225. Played 4 years with Long Island Express, played his senior year with Bombers Lax. He was a 2-time principal list student, graduated with a 3.8 GPA, and played 4 years in high school band. He worked twice at a physical therapy facility, and interns at physical therapy facilities all across New York. He was also a part of the marching band for 3 years, a member of the German American Club and in the pep band senior year.

He is the second son of John and Lisa Whalen, who works at New York and Atlantic Railroad and as an earth science teacher in Massapequa School District, respectively. He has one older brother and one younger bother: John, a rugby player at Union College, and Joe, a high school student, who plays basketball.
