Biography

Junior Year (2016): SAA Academic Honor Roll; Played in 15 games as a junior midfielder with six starts. Finished with two goals and three assists.

Sophomore Year (2015): SAA Academic Honor Roll; Played in ten games as a sophomore midfielder; Scored goal in Centre''s 4-0 win over Spalding on Sept. 27.

Freshman Year (2014): Saw action in two games as a midfielder. SAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Was a recipient of the NSCAA Senior Excellence Award and was a First Team All-State academic scholar for three years. Was a member of the Kentucky All-State team in 2013 as well as All-District and was a member of the Kentucky ODP team. A leading goal scorer junior and senior year, totaling 17 goals by the end of high school career. Finished out the year playing club for Commonwealth SC.

Personal: Son of Matt and Heidi Schweder with a younger sister named Piper. Possibly majoring in Environmental Studies. Father was a Centre soccer alum and greatly influenced decision. “Centre offers an exceptional education and study abroad program and encourages the diligence of all its students. You can motivate by fear, and you can motivate by reward, but both those methods are only temporary. The only lasting thing is self-motivation.”
