In 2018, Spivey helped the Colonels go 14-4-3 overall while claiming the SAA Tournament and reaching the NCAA Tournament. Six Colonels were named All-SAA, as well, with Garuba garnering SAA Offensive Player of the Year.
During his first season with the program, the Colonels went 12-5-2 overall and reached the SAA Championship match. They ranked in the top two in-conference for both scoring offense and scoring defense, and finished with six All-SAA selections at season's end (including SAA Newcomer of the Year Royce Pope). Senior Jesse DiLuzio, an All-SAA First Team selection, was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Atlantic Region Second Team.
Spivey came to Centre after a decorated career at Transylvania University, where he earned his degree in 2016.
