Biography

Sophomore Year (2015): SAA Academic Honor Roll; Played in 12 games his sophomore year on defense with 11 starts.

Freshman Year (2014): Played in three games, with one start as a defender.

High School: Ian was a varsity letterman for all 4 years of high school. He appeared in every single game as a freshman and ended up starting every game as a sophomore. He captained the team as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Ennis was also named in the all-metro team sophomore year and went on to win defensive player of the year his senior year for Mountain Brook High School. Ian played in 3 separate playoff games for the Spartans. He also played for club for Vestavia Hills Soccer Club ’96 Black II where he was the captain. Ennis even played for the Alabama ODP team freshman-junior year where he was named to the Region III Pool sophomore year.

Personal: Ian is the first child of David and Elizabeth Ennis. He lives with his parents in Birmingham, Alabama along with his brother, Carter Ennis, and his sister, Kate Ennis. His possible majors are in French, BNS, or business. Ian chose Centre College due to “The feeling of the campus coupled with a strong, academically minded soccer program as well as a good relationship with Head Coach Jeb Burch and former Assistant Coach James Kusak.”
