Junior Year (2015): Played in 15 games as a junior forward, including 12 starts. Scored lone goal of season in 4-0 win over Spalding; Also recorded assists in games against Wabash and Millsaps.
Sophomore Year (2014): Played in 13 games as a forward, starting nine. Finished with three goals, including game winner vs. Berry (10/11).
Freshman Year (2013): Played in 18 games, starting 4. Scored first career goal in a 2-1 victory over Kenyon College.
High School/Club: 2011 Scholar All America at Forward, 2011 Kentucky All State Second Team, 2011 set all time DHS soccer record for goals, assists, total career points and game winners, 2010 Kentucky All State, 2010 Region 15 MVP, ODP pool , 2010 41 goals (2nd most in a season at DHS), 90 career goals, 44 career assists. Attended the University of Kentucky last year and played for UK''s club team, played club for the JYSA Storm 94 and 93 boys.
Personal: Son of John and Robin Winkler; Plans on majoring in computer science. Chose Centre because “it offers a very personal and academically challenging environment while giving me the opportunity to continue playing soccer at a high level.”
