Biography

Junior Year (2016): Played in 16 games as a junior midfielder, including seven starts. Scored game-winning goal in Centre''s win over Thomas More (Sept. 10).

Sophomore Year (2015): Played in 12 games as a sophomore midfelder, starting four. Scored game-winning goal in Centre''s win over Sewanee on Sept. 26; had an assist in 4-0 win over Hendrix on Oct. 9.

Freshman Year (2014): Played in 12 games as a midfielder with two starts.

High School: Four-year varsity player at Cheyenne Mountain HS, as well as a two-year captain there. John was selected as an all conference player for the past three seasons, in addition to being named All-State during the championship season of his senior year. He was named the MVP of the championship game. On his club team, Predators 96, he was the captain since U11 leading his team to the state championship his junior and senior year. He played for the Colorado ODP team, captaining the team for four years.

Personal: He is the son of Karen Reinking and Tom Herd. He has an older sister Rebecca Reinking-Herd. John chose Centre because “it’s the school that best fit what I’m looking for.”
