Freshman Year (2014): Did not see any game action. SAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Was a member of the Bishop McGuinness soccer team, which reached the state semi-final in 2010 and 2011. Josh was also named to the all region team in 2011. After transferring, Josh became a member of the Greensboro Day School soccer team that reached the state final in 2012. Josh was named to the all conference team in 2012 and 2013. 

Club Soccer: Josh was a member of the 95’ NC Fusion Elite team, playing in the playing in the premier division. Josh also participated on the NC first and second ODP teams in 2011 and 2012.

Personal: Son of Mark and Joyce Markwell. Josh is planning on majoring in economics/financial economics and chose Centre because “the small classroom settings suits my style of learning, and I will be able to continue playing soccer with a great group of people"
