Kennady Warder joined the Centre College softball staff in September 2025 as the Volunteer Assistant Coach before being promoted to Assistant Softball Coach in November 2025. In her current role, she works primarily with catchers, infielders, and hitters.
Before arriving in Danville, Warder spent two summers coaching at Mercer County Senior High School, where she was part of a staff that led the program to its first-ever district and regional championships, as well as its inaugural state tournament appearance.
Warder began her collegiate career at Eastern Kentucky University, where she redshirted for a team that captured the Ohio Valley Conference Championship and advanced to the Knoxville Regional of the NCAA Tournament. During her time at EKU, she earned NFCA Academic honors and received the Ohio Valley Conference Medal of Honor in 2020.
She later transferred to Carson-Newman University, where she made an immediate impact behind the plate. During her career with the Eagles, the team qualified for the conference tournament each season and made two NCAA Tournament appearances. A standout in the classroom as well, Warder was a three-time Academic All-District selection and four-time Eagle Scholar. She graduated from Carson-Newman with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master of Business Administration.
