Biography

During the 2012 campaign, Andrea was named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team. Andrea was on the Dean’s list the past two fall semester. During high school, Andrea was her team captain, as well as cross country captain her junior and senior years. She also received the Commonwealth diploma, and was an AP scholar. Andrea was named to the Academic All-State Team all four years of high schools.

She is the daughter of Sharon Walsh and Patrick Merchak, she has a brother, Chris, and a sister, Elise. She has two dogs, Sadie, Shane, Percy, and a fish named Penny.
