Biography

Emily Madden made the Dean’s List her freshman and sophomore years. She was also named the SCAC Rookie of the Year for the 2012 season and First Team All-SCAC her freshman year. Madden will be looking to make a quick impact after tearing her ACL during the first game of her sophomore year. 

Madden''s high school honors at Mercy Academy include: All-Star Lacrosse Team (2008-10), IN-KY National Tournament Team member (2009-10), All-State Lacrosse Team (2009-10), Student Leadership Team Treasurer (2009-10), Student Leadership Team President (2010-11), Lacrosse Academic All-American (2010), AP Scholar with honors (2010), Morehead-Cain Scholarship Nominee (2010), Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award (2010), Champion All-American Showcase Invitee (2011), captain of varsity lacrosse team.
Her parents are Dennis and Michelle Madden, and she has a sister, Cortney.
