Emma White was hired as the Centre volleyball assistant coach in April of 2025.
White comes to Centre after a successful two-year stint at Springfield College in Massachusetts, where she served as a graduate assistant. During that time, the Springfield Pride accumulated a combined record of 49-13 and made the NCAA Tournament both seasons, defeating Wentworth in the 2023 Tournament. She also has coaching experience with the Roots Volleyball Club in Austin, Texas, serving as the assistant coach there for three years.
A native of Dallas, White earned a Master's degree in Athletic Leadership from Springfield. As a student-athlete, she enjoyed a tremendous career as an outside hitter Southwestern University, where she was twice named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) All-Tournament Team, All-SCAC First Team and SCAC Elite 19, awarded to the student-athlete from each SCAC sport with the highest GPA. White was also named the Puget Sound Premiere Most Outstanding Player in 2021 and Southwestern's Female Athlete of the Year in 2023. She earned her degree in Economics from Southwestern.
