Centre College Athletics

Paul Bowling enters his second season with the Colonel volleyball program.

After helping the Colonels to their best winning percentage (.821) in school history, Bowling is ready to help Centre to the next level.  Coach Neyhouse has worked with Bowling for several years at the prestigious MAVA (Mid-America Volleyball Academy) club volleyball program located in Louisville, KY.  Not only has he coached club ball with Neyhouse several times but he has worked with many of the current and past Centre players who hail from Louisville as well.

Bowling brings with him over 20 years of coaching and playing experience.  Prior to Centre he helped lead North Oldham County to a Regional Championship and an appearance in the State tournament.  He has also coached multiple teams at the club level to tournament championships as well as top ten finishes at nationals. 

"Paul brings an amazing amount of experience to the table for us.  He is one of the best teachers of individuals skills I have ever come across, and his passion and insights into the game of volleyball are undoubtedly going to benefit our team immensely", stated head coach James Neyhouse in regards to the hiring of Bowling. 

Bowling resides in Louisville, KY with his wife and twin sons.
