DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre women's soccer continued its dominant regular season Friday evening, defeating Millsaps, 5-0, at Amend Field in Southern Athletic Association play.
Playing predominately in Major territory, Centre (14-0, 5-0 SAA) led the way relatively early on against Millsaps (2-10-2, 0-5) as
Alana Hughes scored in the 7th minute of the first half. The Colonels came in hot the second half, as well, with
Madeleine Espy scoring three minutes into the period.
Colonels hold the best conference record at 5-0, and are maintaining an even more impressive 14-game unbeaten streak to start the season. They are one win from matching 2012's program-best 15-0 start.
