CONWAY, Ark. - The Centre volleyball team embarked on its final Southern Athletic Association road trip of the season, beginning with a trip to Arkansas to face Hendrix. The Colonels fell to the Warriors in straight sets.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre held an 18-15 lead in the opening frame before Hendrix rallied with six straight points to take the lead. After the Colonels responded with their own rally to tie, Hendrix scored the final four points of the set and won 25-21.
- Hendrix jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the second set and never looked back, leading by as many as 13 points before winning 25-13.
- In the third set, Hendrix broke a 13-13 tie with a run of 11 straight points, eventually taking the set and the match by a score of 25-16.

Perrin Long paced the Colonels with six kills, followed by
Aby Dallas and
Savanna Roper with five each.

Kylie Cochran led all players with 21 assists in the contest and added seven digs as well.

Peyton Vacala posted a game high 19 digs, with
Bailey Vernon adding 11 digs.

Centre volleyball will wrap up the SAA portion of its schedule on Sunday when the Colonels travel to Rhodes .
