- Centre holds a lopsided 7-1 all-time series record against Austin, winning each of the last seven meetings.Â
- The Colonels dropped their first ever contest against the Kangaroos in the 2006 season, but haven't lost since. They on last year's meeting 38-3 in Austin's inaugural SAA campaign.Â
- The first five meetings between Centre and Austin were all decided by a touchdown or less, but the Colonels outscored Austin by a combined 100-3 in their previous three games.Â

Last Time OutÂ
- Centre dropped a heartbreaking 38-35 overtime decision against No. 17 Berry at home back on Sept. 22.
- Four turnovers proved costly for the Colonels, who otherwise topped the Vikings in the box score. Centre out-gained Berry by more than 100 yards and became the first to amass over 500 yards of offense against the Vikings' defense.Â
- Down 14-0 in the first quarter, the Colonels rallied and eventually took a 28-21 fourth-quarter lead. Still, it took a clutch 4th down conversion from Young to
Jaylon Hibbs late in the game to tie things at 35-35.Â
- Overtime was decided in the kicking game, where Berry's Trey Gregory hit what became the game-winner.

Big Chunks
- As a team, Centre ranks fourth in NCAA Division III in passing yards per completion, and Young is fourth in the country averaging more than 19 yards to completed pass. Both rankings are tops in the conference.

Scouting the 'Roos
 - Austin, coming off a 61-0 drubbing at the hands of Berry on the road, is 1-1 in a pair of home games so far this season.
- The 'Roos have struggled on both sides of the ball, ranking at the bottom of the league in scoring offense (14.4 ppg) and defense (31.8).
- Individually, quarterback Colt Collins has completed 41 percent of his passes for three touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also leads Austin with 195 rushing yards and three TDs on the ground.
- Reggie Evans leads a running back committee with 42 carries and a pair of scores, and Adonis Martin has 13 catches for 274 yards and a score to lead the receiving corp.
- Jackson Towndsend is third in the SAA with 46 tackles this season, including four TFLs.Â
Next Week
- Centre returns to Farris Stadium to host SAA associate-member Trinity (Tex.) for a noon kickoff.Â
- Trinity leads the all-time series over Centre, 15-10, but the Colonels have won two in a row, including last season by a 27-21 final in Texas.
- The last meeting in Danville was Homecoming back in 2012, as the Colonels defeated the Tigers 31-14.
