Nelson, Hughes net timely goals in Centre's top-25 victory over Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio – Centre women's soccer won a battle of nationally-ranked programs Sunday on the road, defeating No. 21 Denison with clutch goals from Elizabeth Nelson and Alana Hughes.

The 18th-ranked Colonels improve to 5-0 in their first match away from home while sending the Big Red to 4-2.

HIGHLIGHTS
- After 45 minutes of action the two sides headed into the halftime break in a scoreless tie, although Centre out-shot Denison by a 9-4 margin. Denison's Patil Tcholakian had four saves.
