8th-ranked Lords topple Colonels

GAMBIER, Ohio – Centre men's soccer suffered its second defeat of the season Tuesday evening, falling 4-0 against 8th-ranked Kenyon College at Mavec Field.

With the game tied 0-0 at the half, the host Lords (6-0-1) scored a flurry of goals in the second period to run away from the Colonels (5-2).

HIGHLIGHTS
- A Carson Hart free kick late in the first half proved to be one of Centre's few scoring chances, but the Colonel defense likewise limited Kenyon's opportunities.
- Brice Koval scored the Lords' first goal of the match just six minutes into the second period.
- Kenyon doubled its lead on a set piece in the 76th minute, and would score twice more in short order to bring the final tally to 4-0.
