JACKSON, Miss. – Centre men's soccer won its sixth consecutive match Sunday, dropping Millsaps by a 3-0 score at Harper Davis Field
The Colonels improve to 12-3-1 overall and 5-1 in the Southern Athletic Association with their fourth straight winning decision against the Majors, who slide to 5-9 (1-5 SAA).
HIGHLIGHTS

Will Newton opened the scoring in the 12th minute, converting an assist from
Nick Mazzarella. It marked the fifth goal for Newton and the fifth helper from Mazzarella, the latter good for a team high.
- In the 31st minute,
Nafiz Budeiri doubled Centre's advantage after finding the back of the net off
Ethan Noel's assist.

Nathan Wilcox and
Michael Vogt each put shots on target before the end of the half, but Millsaps' Alfie Miller came up with a couple saves to preserve the 2-0 score.

Alexander Garuba added a goal in the 67th minute to cap the scoring for Centre, with
Carson Hart providing the assist.

Tate Johnson provided three saves in the second half to preserve the shutout.
