DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre women's lacrosse claimed a seesaw battle against Transylvania Wednesday evening, landing the last punch in a 15-14 victory at South Turf Field.
It was the programs' first meeting in five seasons, and featured eight ties and a handful of lead changes, but the Colonels (10-2) escaped to improve to 3-0 all-time against the Pioneers (7-3).
Wednesday was also the team's second annual Green Dot game, raising awareness and support in preventing domestic and sexual violence on campus through the Green Dot Bystander Intervention Program.
