DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre men's soccer dropped a narrow 1-0 decision against visiting Kenyon Saturday evening, completing the 30th Annual Bob Allen Nissan Classic at Andrew P. Amend Field.
The No. 15 Colonels fall to 4-2-1 overall, while the No. 6 Lords improve to 5-1 while claiming the event's top spot.
HIGHLIGHTS
- There was little separating the two nationally-ranked programs across the opening 45 minutes, with an even number of total shots and attempts on target.

Tate Johnson came up large for the Colonels in the 28th minute, saving a penalty kick from Johan Johannsson.
- Kenyon managed to out-shoot Centre in the second period, and Scott Upton's goal early in the half proved to be the only difference on the scoreboard.

- The Lords had 16 shots to the Colonels' 10, with a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal.
- Johnson would finish with six saves, four coming in the second half.
