DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre bounced back from a pair of recent losses to defeat visiting DePauw, 2-0, Saturday at South Campus Field.
The Colonels improved to 7-2 overall while handing the Tigers a 1-6 record.
Centre hit the field adorned in green accessories to help raise awareness for the Green Dot program, an initiative out of the Office of Title IX that aims to shift campus culture and increase proactive preventative behavior by targeting influential members from across a community with basic education, skill practice, and reactive interventions to high-risk situations.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre dominated possession during the first half and gathered a handful of penalty corner opportunities, but DePauw's Allie Duranceau recorded nine saves to help keep it scoreless.
- Those scoring chances eventually proved fruitful for the Colonels, as
Maggie Will found the back of the cage in the third quarter for her first collegiate goal.

Ellie Dunham doubled Centre's lead early in the fourth quarter, scoring her fifth goal of the season off an assist from
Meredith Wickenheiser.

- Centre lived in its attacked third of the field, recording a season-high 33 shots (20 on goal) and 19 penalty corners. DePauw was held to just two total attempts.
- Wickenheiser led Centre with eight shots, followed by seven from Dunham.
