JACKSON, Miss. – Centre women's soccer delivered a 3-0 victory Friday evening against Millsaps at Harper Davis Field.
The No. 15/11 Colonels improved to 10-1-1 overall and an unblemished 3-0 in the Southern Athletic Association, while the host Majors fall to 1-7-1 overall and 0-3 in-conference.
Centre is now 33-2 all-time against Millsaps, winning all 33 in a row dating back to the 1995 season. The Colonels haven't allowed a goal to the Majors since 2010.

Jonelle Barron collected a pair of saves in the opening 20 minutes.
- Centre got on the board in the 19th minute, as
Megan Sidaway converted a goal off an assist from Cara Franke. It was Sidaway's sixth goal of the season and second in the last two matches.
- Just before the half,
Lizzie Klehr found the back of the net to double the Colonels' lead.
Annabel Justice provided the assist on Klehr's third goal of the year.
- Early in the second half, the Majors suffered an own goal after
Brooke Smithson sent a cross in from the left wing.

Maggie Corbett finished with three shots apiece to lead the team.
- The Colonels had six corners to the Majors' one.
