MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Centre women's lacrosse team lost its second consecutive game as the Rhodes Lynx defeated the Colonels 19-8 in a game that will not count towards either team's conference record.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The Lynx got off to another hot start, going up 4-1 on the Colonels in the first ten minutes and change, with only
Lily Gahm's goal keeping Centre on the board.
- The two teams would alternate goals for the next 11 minutes as Gahm scored her second and both
Mary Katherine Hardy and
McKenna Hulette got on the board for the first time.
- At just under the five-minute mark, Hulette scored her second goal of the contest to make it 8-5, but the Lynx would score two goals in the final two minutes go to up 10-5 at halftime, and they kept their momentum in the second half with the first two goals.
- Centre would score three of the next four goals as Gahm and Hulette each scored their third of the game and
Sloan Reding got on the board for the first time to make it 13-8, but Rhodes ended the game on a 6-0 run to close it out.

- Gahm and Hulette each paced the Colonels with three goals.

Lola Duff hit double digit saves for the second time this season, finishing with 11.
- The Lynx held advantages of 43-29 in shots, 28-23 in ground balls and 16-13 in draw controls.
