ATLANTA – Centre men's soccer fell by a 3-0 score Saturday at Oglethorpe in their Southern Athletic Association opener.
The Colonels drop to 4-4-1 overall while the host Stormy Petrels pick up their first win and move to 1-6.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre had a corner kick opportunity in the 31st minute, resulting in a shot from
Nick Petrie. Oglethorpe took advantage, however, quickly converting a transition goal to take the lead.

Owen Trimmier had a shot saved late in the first half, but the Petrels maintained their 1-0 advantage into the break.
- Sebastian Molina doubled Oglethorpe's lead in the 65th minute and Fernando Guevara made it 3-0 in the 77th.
- The Colonels managed only one shot throughout the second period.

- Oglethorpe totaled 12 shots to Centre's four, including a 6-1 edge in shots on goal.
