DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre took care of Wittenberg, 4-0, capping a perfect opening weekend Sunday at South Turf Field.
The Colonels improve to 2-0 overall and send the Tigers home at 1-1.

Maran Lee opened the scoring barely five minutes in with a rocket off a corner insert from
Megan Coomes.
- The Colonels continued to maintain possession into the second quarter, eventually resulting in a score from
Meredith Wickenheiser that doubled the lead before halftime.

Ellie Dunham hit the back of the cage in the third quarter, getting an assist from
Kate Pilcher for her second goal of the weekend.
- Lee capped the scoring following a penalty opportunity in the fourth quarter, marking her first career two-goal outing.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Centre dominated possession, out-shooting Wittenberg 26-0 while putting 12 attempts on goal. The Colonels also totaled 13 penalty corners and surrendered none.
