DANVILLE, Ky. – In the final contest of the regular season on Amend Field, the Centre women's soccer team (13-2, 5-1 SAA) celebrated their senior class and 2021-2022 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Woman of the Year in
Cameron Zak on Sunday afternoon. The Colonels had even more to celebrate in the game they played, thumping the Birmingham-Southern Panthers (2-9-2, 0-6 SAA) on a final score of 6-2. Centre celebrate their senior class consisting of

Mills Mullen,

Katelyn Operle and Gabby Hibbs.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior
Mills Mullen was the first member of the Gold and White to strike first in the contest, finding an opening made by
Bella Nelson to place the ball just above the goalkeeper in the eighth minute. Mullen would register a second goal in the 29th minute as well, the second score stemming from
Kat Voight.
- Senior
Lizzie Klehr would nail her third goal of the season on Sunday, Mullen assisting on the play to stretch the Colonels' lead early in the first half of play.
- Other student-athletes like
Bella Nelson continued the hot streak for the Colonels, netting two goals of her own in the 14th and 84th minute of the game, the second being assisted by
Meg Ralston.
- The Gold and White found some openings in the Panthers' gameplan even on the defensive side, defender
Jordan Zak earning her first career goal off the assist from
Erin Reynolds.

- The Colonels unloaded their offense with 29 total shots in the contest, the ninth time this season and second-straight game the program has put up 20 or more in a single contest.
- Mullen's two goals and one assist marks her the second time this season the senior has tallied five points in a single game.
- The defense for the Gold and White has continued to dominate on the disruption, not allowing a single corner kick for the third time in the last five games played.
- Nelson's pair of scores and assist not only marks her with at least a goal in the last three games, but also her first five-point performance as a student-athlete at Centre.
