GRANVILLE, Ohio. – The Colonels faced the Big Red of Denison University on Sunday. After a scoreless first three quarters, Centre fell to Denison by a score of 1 – 0.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre and Denison complemented each other in nearly every aspect of the game. Not having a single shot until the second period, much of the competition was set in the middle third of the field.
- Coming out of halftime,
Peyton Gahm and
Olivia Broyles aimed to get on the board for Centre, both taking a shot on frame.
- The first three periods of the game remained scoreless for both teams. After a back-and-forth contest, the Big Red placed the singular goal early in the fourth quarter.
- The Colonel's defense faced four shots in the contest, denying three of Denison's attempts.

- In a well matched competition, the Colonels took three shots on goal while Denison attempted four.

Peyton Gahm was the leading shooter for Centre, taking three shots.

Carlie McKenry was in goal for the Gold & White. The sophomore faced four shots in the competition, only letting one get by her.
- In penalty corners, Denison created five opportunities, the Colonels having one.
