SEWANEE, Tenn. – After running hot last weekend in garnering two wins, the Centre men's soccer team (2-11-2, 2-5 SAA) looked to continue their streak in the regular season finale against the Sewanee Tigers (12-3, 5-2 SAA) on Saturday afternoon. The Colonels fell in a tight contest with their conference opponent, the final score falling in favor of the Tigers 1-0.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Aidan Hartman was able to defend the Tigers' early offensive pushes, saving Sewanee's first shot of the game that was aiming for the bottom-right side of the net.
- Sewanee would eventually reach the back of the net in the first half, garnering the game's lone goal in the 17th minute.
- The Colonels were able to get some offensive momentum in the second half of action, senior Connor Henry posting up a shot between two Centre corner kicks.

Finnegan Deem-Ranzetta was able to get one final look for the Gold and White to potentially tie the match, but the shot on the bottom-right side of the goal would end up being saved by Sewanee's keeper.

- Hartman's four saves marks the sixth time in eight appearances that the freshman keeper has tallied more saves than goals allowed in a single contest, including the last five games being full 90-minute showcases at the net.
- The Colonels' three total shots is the second time this season the Gold and White have been held to three or less in the statistical category.
- The Tigers' six corner kicks is the most that Centre has faced within the last five contests of the regular season.
