DANVILLE, Ky. – The Centre softball team (6-26, 0-12 SAA) finished their series against No. 14 Berry on Sunday, the Colonels falling to the Vikings on an 11-0 score in six innings at the Centre Softball Field.

Lucy Baseheart came into the contest for the Colonels in the top of the third inning, getting the leadoff batter to pop one up and the next two caught swinging to retire the side.

Kaylen Storms held the Gold and White's only hit on the day, driving a single in the bottom of the fourth to reach first base.
- Baseheart's performance on the mound shined bright through three innings on Sunday, forcing four Berry pop-up plays, two strikeouts, a line out and a ground out between the third and fifth innings.
- The Vikings were able to throw together four runs in the top of the sixth inning to hold the Colonels to a run rule.

Centre will have two more series left before they wrap up the regular season, their next opponent in the Rhodes Lynx. The first game of that series is set to kick off on Saturday, April 9, the Colonels hosting a double header that day at the Centre Softball Field, first pitch at 12 p.m.
