DANVILLE, Ky. – The Centre women's softball team (7-26, 1-12 SAA) opened up their series on Saturday afternoon after a schedule reshuffle due to weather, looking to start strong for the Senior Day weekend. The Colonels' bats were flying at the plate as they achieved their second run-rule win of the season, taking down the Lynx on a final score of 9-1 in six innings.

Abby Duncan, which followed by Isaacs on a double to the right side.
- The fifth inning brought the Colonels their fourth double-play ball of the season,
Rylie Bentley playing a ground ball towards Isaacs who then quickly tossed it to Gregory to clear the bases.
- The senior, Isaacs, would once again drive in a run in the sixth inning, the error the hit ball garnered would not only reach her to first base, but advance Rogers through home plate.
