DANVILLE, Ky. – After taking a couple of tough losses earlier in the week, the Centre volleyball team bounced back in a big way as they knocked off the Stormy Petrels of Oglethorpe in four sets to earn their first conference victory.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The opening set belonged to Oglethorpe as the Petrels snagged an early 13-7 lead. The Colonels rallied to the score at 14-14 following consecutive kills by
Isabel Thornton, but Oglethorpe scored the next five and never looked back as they won 25-18.
- In the second set, the Colonels controlled from the start as they scored the first eight points, with four coming on aces from
