LEXINGTON, Ky. – After tying DePauw in their previous contest, the Centre men's soccer team (0-5-2) took on the Transylvania Pioneers (2-2-3) on Wednesday night west of Danville, Ky. Transylvania took the lead early and held off the Colonels, the Gold and White falling on a final score of 1-0.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Transylvania's lone goal came in the first half, the assisted goal making way in the game's seventh minute of action.
- The Colonels were able to get off some shots in the first half, Nick Peitrie,
Drew Davidson and
Sota Ippongi taking a chance at the net during a five-minute span.

Everett Hauser was able to break away from the pack in the game's final minutes, his shot-on-goal in the 86
th minute saved by the Pioneer keeper.
