DANVILLE, Ky. – After earning three goals in both of their contests so far this week, the No. 15 Centre women's soccer team (8-1) played their third game in seven days on Sunday. Their opponent to cap the weekend was Wittenberg (1-6-2), and the Colonels continued their hot streak with a 4-0 victory.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- It didn't take long for the Gold and White to break ahead in the contest,
Mills Mullen reaching the back of the net in a shot from the third minute of the contest.
- Mullen would affect the next goal for the Colonels, this time stemming from a goal by senior
Lizzie Klehr. Klehr's goal was score in the 26th minute of the contest.

Megan Sidaway would set up Mullen perfectly in the 49th minute to kick off the second half, pushing a pass from midfield over to the right side for a streaking Mullen goal.
- With their three-goal lead, Centre continued the offensive push through the 61st minute, Bells Nelson earning a score for the final goal of the afternoon.

- Mullen's five-point game (two goals, one assist) is her highest total in a single game so far this season, the fourth time in her career she'd had five or more in a single game.
- The Gold and White's defense has been a fortress over the last three games, only allowing eight shots total and one shot-on-goal. The aforementioned stat line is their best three-game stretch of the season in that category.
- The Colonels' 10 shots-on-goal against Wittenberg is the fifth time this season the team has put a double-digit number in that statistical category.
- Centre's two assists against the Tigers marks their fourth-consecutive game with at least one assist to a goal.
