DANVILLE, Ky. – After going undefeated last week and earning a No. 20 ranking in the NCAA Division III polls earlier in the day, the Centre women's soccer team (9-1) traveled out to Asbury (2-7-1) on Tuesday night. The Colonels would put on some of their strongest offensive performances of the season, putting up their second-straight 4-0 victory.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- After earning this week's SAA Offensive Player of the Week honor,
Mills Mullen's shot in the 17th minute of the contest reached the back of the net to put the Colonels in the lead early.
- It would only take a little under 12 minutes for the Gold and White to extend their lead to two goals,
Megan Sidaway doing a side-step into a shot that sailed back the Eagles' goalkeeper.
Ava Priest would be the one credited to have led that shot for Sidaway.
- It wouldn't take long to get the offense back in full-swing, the Colonels opening the second half with a goal to bring their lead to three. Centre would launch a cross from the near-side of the field,
Alexis Kronenthal would tip the pass into the right side of the net through the goalkeeper from
Ava Priest's pass.
- Centre would find one more goal before the game reached 90 minutes of action,

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Colonels had four different student-athletes score in the Tuesday night win, the third time this season the program has ended a contest with four or more scorers.
- Centre's offense was on full force, putting up 29 shots-on-goal against the Eagles. That number sets a single-game high so far in the season.
- Mullen's goal to take the lead marks her second game-winner this year and the third-straight game of nailing at least one score.
- Senior goalkeeper
Jonelle Barron's save marks her third game this season of not giving up a single goal in a game with at least one credited save.

The Colonels will be back in conference action this weekend, traveled south to Georgia for the second of their four-game road trip. The weekend trip will feature a battle with Berry, that Saturday, Oct. 1 match kicking off at 12 p.m. ET.
