DANVILLE, Ky. – A late run of 11 straight points proved to be the difference as Centre men's basketball fell to the Hendrix Warriors by a score of 76-68.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Warriors came out in a 2-3 zone to start the game, but the Colonels began the game with hot shooting from downtown, making five early threes to start.
- Centre extended to its largest lead of the half at nine points following free throws from
Cade Stinnett and
Caleb Maul. The Warriors battled back as the lead stayed between four and nine the rest of the half.

Drew Wilson capped off a 15-point opening half by burying a long three-pointer at the buzzer to give Centre a 39-32 lead at the half.
- The Colonels started the similar hot three-point shooting as they displayed to start the game, knocking down three triples and taking a ten-point lead on a three from
Marshall Taylor.
- Centre led 55-45 before going cold halfway through the second half. At the same time, Hendrix caught fire, scoring the next 13 points to take their first lead of the contest.
- Consecutive scores from Wilson and two free throws from Stinnett put the Colonels back on top at 61-58, but the Warriors went on another run, making three straight three-pointers and scoring 11 straight overall to go up by eight. The Colonels cut the deficit in half on more free throws from Stinnett, but could get no closer than four the rest of the way.

- Wilson finished with a game high and career high 25 points.
- Stinnett added 21 points, giving him an average of 30 points per game for the week.
- Hendrix shot 45 percent from three-point range, including 60 percent on 9-15 shooting in the second half.
