Veterans tally goals in season opener to overcome MSJ

DANVILLE, Ky. – In their first of three games through the extended Labor Day weekend, the Centre women's soccer team (1-0) kicked off the 2023 season on Friday on Amend Field against the Mount St. Joseph Lions (0-1). After a series of scores in the first half of action, the Colonels emerged on top and kicked off the season with a win for a third time in a row, the result in a 2-1 score.
