Corbett’s late score forces tie against Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Centre women's soccer team (4-1-2) rounded out their week of play on Saturday up north, taking on the Denison Big Red (2-0-4) on the road. After an early goal for Denison, the Colonels were able to tie the game up in the second half to force the draw 1-1.

- The Gold & White cranked out several shots to start the contest; Lindsay Carr, Annabel Justice and Bella Nelson each taking shots at the net in the game's first 12 minutes.
- The Big Red charged a Centre clear attempt in the 22nd minute, deflecting the ball into the net for lead in the first half.
- The Colonels were able to get several shots in the second half, Riley Givens pushing a shot to the bottom-right side of the net that was eventually saved by the keeper.
- Just four minutes later Maggie Corbett found the back of the net in the 70th minute to tie the game, the senior catching the net just four seconds after Megan Sidaway's attempt.
