DANVILLE, Ky. – Less than 24 hours removed from playing in Atlanta, the Centre men's soccer team returned to Amend Field to take on MUW. A 70-second stretch in the first half that produced two goals was the difference in a 3-0 shutout victory for the Colonels.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Colonels were the aggressors from the jump against the Owls, getting off four shots in the opening 15 minutes.

Owen Trimmier checked into the game at the 16-minute mark and was on the field for 30 seconds before making an impact as he took a feed from
Sota Ippongi and put it into the net to get the Colonels on the board.
- A little over a minute later, Centre got a corner kick and took advantage of the opportunity as

- The Colonels kept up the aggression in the first half and maintained their 2-0 lead as they held the visiting Owls without a shot in the first period.
- It didn't take long for Centre to open up the scoring in the second half. After a couple of scoring chances resulted in saves for MUW,

Drew Davidson for a goal at the 52-minute mark to wrap up the scoring for the day.
