DANVILLE, Ky.- Centre women's basketball returned to Alumni to host Rhodes before entering a two game road series. Outscoring the Lynx 71-62, the Colonels held steady in the league's no. 2 slot.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Lilly Reid initiated the scoring with Rhodes answering in the very next possession. Three minutes into the frame,
Anna Thomas netted the game's first three, simultaneously opening an 8-0 run, six of which were from Thomas herself. The Lynx began to inch their way back in and by the start of the second, the score read 18-16, Centre favoring.
- The Colonels hastily opened the next period with a 10-2 scoring streak. Rhodes answered with a 7-0 run but a late three from Reid followed by a jumper from
Emma Rose Vincent handed Centre a six-point edge entering halftime.
- Out of the break, the two teams continued their trade of scoring runs, Rhodes claiming the first to come within one possession. Grinter returned the hold to five with a long ball as
Katelyn Stiltner further supplemented Centre's lead with a jumper and connected free-throw.
- The Colonels continued to control the game's pace opening the final period. Two minutes in, the Lynx feel silent as Vincent kick-started an 11-0 run. Eventually claiming the game's first double-digit lead, the Colonels fended off the Lynx's late push, winning by a score of 71-62.

- The Colonels found four different scorers with double-figured points. Reid fronted Centre with 16 points while Grinter tallied 12, Rucker claimed 11, and Vincent owned ten.
