DANVILLE, Ky.- The Colonels returned to South Turf to host Collegiate Field Hockey Conference (CFHC) opponent Concordia for their 2025 Senior Day game. Tallying three goals, Centre field hockey blanked their conference opponent to improve to a 1-1 mark in the league.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre senior
Abby Brainard opened the game's scoring six minutes in, tallying her second goal of the season during a penalty corner. Registering the quarter's only point, the Colonels held a one-point edge entering the next frame.
- Centre continued their offensive push into the second, outshooting the Falcons 3-1 in the period. Also favoring in corners, the Colonels netted their second goal during a corner play with just two minutes remaining in the half.

Peyton Gahm for a wide-open look at goal, adjusting the score to Centre two, Concordia zero, entering halftime.
- The Gold & White dominated out of break, blanking the Falcons in both shots (6-0) and corners (4-0). With both teams being unable to place a shot, the score remained at 2-0 entering the final 15-minutes of play.
- The fourth quarter brought one additional goal for the Colonels. Rookie
Tori Drepaul scored her first collegiate goal when
Emily Ritchie spotted the rookie off post during a corner play in the final minute. When regulation ran out, the final score was set at Centre three, Concordia zero.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Two seniors, Brainard and Gahm, scored on Senior Day. Drepaul's goal was the first of her career.
- In goal,
Carlie McKenry collected two saves during her 60-minutes of play. The senior allowed zero goals from her CFHC opponents.

Jackie Rodriguez and
Maggie Will tied for the game's leader in shots taken with four apiece.
- The Colonels favored in both shots (21-4) and corners (12-2).

Ashley Hamilton led the game in defensive saves with one.
