Men’s soccer takes 2-1 win over Berea

DANVILLE, Ky. – Five games into the season and still no one has defeated Centre men's soccer. The Colonels won 2-1 over visiting Berea College on Tuesday.

The Gold & White held a 4-0-1 record after the victory. The Mountaineers returned to Madison County with a 1-3-1 mark.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre got on the board early Tuesday night. A corner kick from the left corner by Alec McAlister was headed in by AJ Daniels in the 6th minute.
- The Colonels once again lit up the scoreboard in the 40th minute. Zeke Saviello took a cross at the top right corner of the box and sent a shot into the back of the net to increase the Gold & White's lead to 2-0.
- Berea tallied the only second-half goal of the match in the 52nd minute. It was the final goal in the 2-1 Centre win.
