DANVILLE, Ky. – On Sunday, the Colonels hosted Ohio Wesleyan (OWU) for their final game of Family Weekend. In what proved to be a defensive clash, an early goal from the Battlin' Bishops downed the Colonels 1-0.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- OWU opened the game's scoring in the sixth minute, placing the only goal of the contest during a break away. The Colonels' defense rallied to stifle two corner opportunities for the Battlin' Bishops, goalkeeper

Reese Smith and
Peyton Gahm attempted to put the Colonels on the board but would not complete a shot. Denying three more OWU shot attempts, the Gold & White halted the score at 1-0 entering halftime.
- The second half saw two shots from both squads, Centre's McKenry denying the Bishops' singular shot on frame. With neither team placing a goal, the score finalized at OWU one, Centre zero.
