SALEM, Va. – Centre men's soccer fell for the first time in the 2024 campaign with a 3-1 setback to a Roanoke College team that received votes in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll.
The Friday result moved the Colonels to 6-1-1 while the Maroons improved to 3-0-2.

- The first goal of the match, and only of the first half, was by Centre. A free kick from
Finnegan Deem-Ranzetta was sent into the goal by
Henry Seigman who used his head from right outside of the goal area.
- Roanoke tallied four goals in the final half to tally the 4-0 win at home.

Henry Seigman's goal was the first of his Colonel career. The Georgetown, Texas native notched the goal on his first collegiate shot on goal.

Finnegan Deem-Ranzetta's assist was the first for the junior defender in a Centre uniform.
