CONWAY, Ark. - Centre volleyball remained unbeaten in the Southern Athletic Association as they pulled off their second 3-0 road win in as many days, this time against the Hendrix Warriors.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The opening set was well played by both teams. Centre held the lead for the majority of the set, but Hendrix stayed close and rallied to tie the score four times late, the last one coming at 24-24. Consecutive kills by
Syd Bietz gave the Colonels a 26-24 victory.
- In the second set, the Colonels fell behind by five early before rallying with a 10-2 run midway through to take the lead for good. Centre never led Hendrix get within three points the rest of the way as
Emily Gardner finished off a 25-21 win with the final kill.
- Centre never trailed in the third set as the Colonels gradually built their lead throughout, limiting Hendrix to a game low .132 hitting percentage. The Colonels scored the final three points to slam the door on a 25-18 win.

Delia Long hit a new career high in kills as she led all players with 14, followed by Bietz with 12 as Centre hit .343 as a team for the match.
- Gardner continued to average double digit assists per set, finishing with 33 for the game, nine more than Hendrix's team total.
- Centre held a 45-34 advantage in digs, led by a game high 14 from
June Padilla.
