DANVILLE, Ky. - Earlier today the College Sports Communicators released their Academic All-District honorees for the 2024 football season and Centre was well represented, with five players earning recognition.  

This year's football Academic All-District honorees were junior wide receiver Dant Bowling, junior wide receiver Blake Busson, sophomore defensive back Ollie Carter, junior linebacker Temes Kahsay and senior placekicker Cam Tegge.

The Academic All-America list for football will be released on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average. Nominees must also compete in 90 percent of the institution's contests or must start in at least 66 percent of the contests.
