Centre Field Hockey took on Saturday with the Colonels looking to improve to 2-1 in the CFHC. In a tightly-contested game, Centre's offense could not get in gear as Sewanee came away with a 3-0 win.

Olivia Vonderheide combined for 3 shot attempts in the first with all 3 going wide of goal as the game was scoreless after 1.
Sewanee broke through in the 23rd minute. Off a penalty corner,
Addie Sheridan stopped an initial shot, but the Colonels could not clear the zone as the Tigers kept the pressure on and ultimately put the ball in the net for the lead. Sewanee's defense took over from there as Centre did not get off a single shot in the quarter as the Colonels trailed 1-0 at halftime.

Tori Drepaul, but her shot sailed high.
