GENEVA, Ohio - Centre fifth-year
Nick Whitlow capped off a brilliant career with the men's track & field program by earning an All-America finish in the decathlon at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships.
Whitlow finished with 6,464 points in this weekend's decathlon to lock up eighth place and First Team All-America honors after receiving the award in the heptathlon in the 2025 indoor finals.
He used a huge opening score in the 100m to stay in the top half of the field on Thursday. When Friday rolled around, Whitlow again began his session with a massive score in the 110m hurdles and then stayed in All-America contention with personal best marks in the pole vault and javelin and seasonal best marks in the discus and the 1500m.
The NCAA Championships will conclude for the Centre men on Saturday with
Cree Ross in the triple jump and
Dirk Gambrel in the 400m hurdles.
